Why did Turning Point expand sales into firearms along with measuring instruments?

Because sometimes you want to shoot more than TOPO… and at the request of police departments and surveyors. Police departments did not have high enough budgets to purchase instruments for accident and forensic mapping. A solution was found to provide the departments the equipment they needed by reducing the cost using service and legally confiscated firearms traded-ins. Working with ATF and the Milwaukee County Sheriff, Turning Point was established as a Federal Firearms Licensee. The main goal was to facilitate used trade-ins from police departments, but the Surveying profession is filed with outdoor enthusiasts.

Turning Point for the past two years has provided firearms to support Summer meeting trap shoots. We received requests from Surveyors looking for particular firearms that were not readily available and cost effective at larger shops so we expanded with new firearms. We also needed to provide new firearms along with used to abide by all the FFL requirements.

Turning Point became a Benelli family of firearms dealer. We also have in-stock many different brands for concealed carry and can get almost any new firearm from our national distributers. If you are interested in learning more on a firearm or need more time reviewing them than you get standing at the counter of the big shops please call us. We can assist you with training and coordinating a concealed carry class for you. One thing we learned in the past three years with our FFL is that selling is easy. Buying is hard. If you have time stop-by; we can talk about the firearm buying business…
