Sokkia Planning 4.21 is Available

Sokkia is pleased to announce that Planning V4.21 is now available. The latest version contains enhanced features designed to improve overall performance of the software. Planning V4.21 is considered an update and is available at no charge. Planning V4.21 is available as a complete software install or as a maintenance pack to V4.20. Sokkia GSR Reference Station Software V9.3.1 is Available

Sokkia is pleased to announce that the latest version of GSR Reference Station Software V9.3.1 is now available. The new version includes several updates designed to improve overall performance of the software. Sokkia GSR2700 RSX Firmware V3.500 Available:

Sokkia is pleased to announce that a new GNSS firmware version (V3.500) is now available for the GSR2700 RSX reference station. The new version provides consistency with the firmware that is being used for GSR2700 ISX receivers and is recommended for all users.

The GSR2700 RSX firmware V3.500 is considered an update, so existing users can download the new version at no charge. This download and updating instructions are available at http://www.sokkia.com/Products/Detail/GSR2700RSX.aspx.

To update your firmware, please follow the instructions provided with the firmware download. As the instructions detail, the firmware is updated through the GSR Reference Station SW itself.

GSR Reference Station Software V8.4.1 is Available

The new version includes several updates designed to improve overall performance of the software. GSR NetLink V8.4.1 is Available

Sokkia is pleased to announce that the latest version of GSR NetLink, V.8.4.1, is now available. The new version includes enhancements designed to improve overall performance of the software. GSR NetLink V8.4.1 is considered an update and is available at no charge to existing users. Users can download the new version at http://www.sokkia.com/Products/Detail/netlink.aspx.

To install GSR NetLink V.8.4.1, copy the downloaded *.CAB file to the Windows Mobile® Pocket PC phone using ActiveSync. Once copied, double click the *.CAB file on the phone to launch the installation.

New V8.4.1 Features:
   • Native Bluetooth Support (device with Microsoft Bluetooth Stacks)
      - Eliminates the need for pre-browsing and bonding with the GNSS receiver before you enter NetLink.
         All connections can be made inside the product using the new built-in browser.
      - Allows for connections to EITHER Bluetooth profile on the GSR2700 ISX (XCOM3 or XCOM2).
   • Enhanced connectivity support with third party reference station networks.

GSR2700 ISX Firmware V3.500/2.120 is Available
Sokkia is pleased to announce that a new firmware version (V3.500/2.120) is now available for the GSR2700 ISX.
The new version contains several enhancements designed to improve the overall performance
of the receiver. This firmware upgrade is recommended for all users.

GSR2700 ISX V3.500 Features

Improved Network RTK support for third party reference networks to enhance position availability and convergence time
Improvement of ambiguity resolution under high multipath

GSR2700 ISX UserApp V2.120/2.120a Features

Additional language support for Dutch, German, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Portuguese
and Russian

The GSR2700 ISX firmware V3.500/2.120 is considered an update, so existing users can download the
new version at no charge. This download is available at http://www.sokkia.com/Products/Detail/GSR2700ISX.aspx.

Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure a successful update.

This firmware update requires the use of a serial cable to connect your PC to the receiver.
We strongly recommend that all receivers with one of the following GSM modules use the current JAVA applet versions, which are:
- Nokia GSM JAVA Applet: V3.002
- GDL700i GSM JAVA Applet: V3.003
Both JAVA applets should be used in conjunction with SDR+ V8.3.1 or later. Use the
GSR CE Config Tool to update the JAVA applet.
